You've finished up month one of your life. I know I'm a little late. I blame the schedule shifting completely! It works as long as we wake you every 2 hours to eat. Maybe soon we'll get brave and see what you do every 3. The thing is, if you're awake, you think you should be eating every 2 hours, and to get you to sleep after 2 hours have passed involves a lot of screaming and tears.
We convinced you to take a bottle every now and then-as long as we find the right nipple at the right time. It's good that it gives me a break during the night, but so far you've taken it every time *except* at night; but bad that it means we're getting closer to me having to go back to work and leaving you.
Let's see, on the developmental grounds-you're a grabbing fiend! Shirts, fingers, ears, noses, chins--if it's with-in your reach, you grab it! You've discovered your legs have strength and, like your hands, if it's in reach you press against it!
I took you too the pool, Christina and Braden came along. You both enjoyed it, we think. Christina got some good pictures of you two laying next to each other. No matter how big you're getting, next to Braden, you look newborn size.
Oh! Your eyelashes have popped out! I'm glad that you have eyelashes. I wouldn't want all the kids at preschool to tease you cause you don't have eyelashes.
You had your first professional pictures taken today. You only gave a hint of smile, nothing like you've given your dad or me. I got one set of small pictures to give to your grandparents and great-grandparents. It was fun-well for me it was. You were just interested in the next time you got to eat. "FEED ME" you demanded in the middle of the photo shoot. That's ok, we'll get
some more taken later, when you're more interactive and smiley.

Keep growing, Brendon. I love you.
